Cultural exchanges between Kagoshima University, Japan and Hanoi University of Agriculture

According to the exchange schedule of this academic semester, professors and students from Kagoshima University, Japan have arrived at the Vietnam National University of Agriculture participating in a cultural co-exchange program. Presenting professors of the Faculty of Accounting and Business Management and students of K53, K54 of Agribusiness Management class (Advanced Education Program) have joined in all activities.

Workshop on “The Value of Secure Property Rights: Evidence from Global Fisheries”

To enhance the cooperation in teaching and scientific research on May 17th, 2011, the Faculty of Economics and Rural Development organized a workshop on “The Value of Secure Property Rights: Evidence from Global Fisheries”. The invited speaker Dr. Corbett Grainger from Agricultural and Applied Economics faculty, University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) had presented methodologies and research results of this topic. The workshop attracted the attention of lecturers and master students from the Faculty of Economics and Rural Development, and the Faculty of Accounting and Business Management.

According to the academic schedule, students of the class K58 Agribusiness Management (Advanced Education Program) took their first internship and field-trip on November 6th, 2015 at Hai Long Co.Ltd., and the Viet Han Co.Ltd., Nam Dinh Branch.

The Undergraduate Advanced Education Program – Agribusiness Management is launched by the Vietnam National University of Agriculture and managed by the Faculty of Accounting and Business Management. This program is one of 23 successful collaborative programs approved and funded by Viet Nam Ministry of Education and Training so far. Its advancement is based on the selection criteria such as objectives, curriculums, teaching resources, student assessment,... which are fulfilled requirements of the University of Wisconsin-Madison - USA (top 200 universities worldwide). The media instruction language of the course is English.
